In 2018, Hunter and his wife Tiffany used hairbands as makeshift wedding rings due to Hunter's struggle to find a band for his large knuckle. Motivated by this, Hunter designed a hinged wedding band using 3D printing, solving the fit issue for himself and friends with similar challenges.
